( BY TELEGRAPH—PER PRESS ASSOCIATION THE HOUSE. The House met at 2.30 p.m. WELLINGTON, July 17. When the House resumed this afternoon the Minister of Finance intimated he wished to proceed at once with the consideration of the Estimates, and the House went into Committee of Supply to again discuss a vote of LSG.oIO for the Legislature Department. This debate continued until 11.20 p.m., when it was passed. The following votes were then passed without discussion :—Treasury .£36,144, Land and Income Tax Department £59.612, Stamp Duties £97,983. The House rose at 11.30 p.m. till 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday. •
