BIS LEY SHOOTING . (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.] LONDON, July 14. For the first time in the history of the King’s Prize, a. woman is competing at Bisley. She is a typical postwar “land girl.” With a woman partner. she runs a poultry farm near Aldershot. She rose early this morning fed the chickens, and milked foui goats, then motor-cycled to Bisley, where, at the first range, of two hundred yards, she scored thirty-two oul of thirty-five. The Australians’ first range score: were: —.Captain H. Coles 32, Alajoi Tultin 30, Reservist Brown 26. Yesterday In tho St. George’s Com petition, the Australian, Sproats scor ed 63, which won him a prize of £l. LONDON, July 15. In the first stages of the King’ Prize at Bisley, the best scores were Major Prout 34—32—31; Reservist J Downs 26—32—32; Major Pantlin 3030—29 : Captain Coles 28—27—2 C Twelve tied for the bronze medal wit’ 102 apiece.
