Economic Conditions. The hanking averages lor the .Tune quarter of last year were very satisfactory. but the averages for the June quarter this year sligw almost a complete reversal of the economic conditions. Government deposits increased -EL--238, 598. Free deposits decreased £2,902,713. Fixed deposits decreased £291,573. Advances increased £4,564,784. Discounts increased £2l-1.188. Circulation increased £-1G,293. Coin and bullion increased £126,238.
