DY TELEGRAPH —CRESS ASSN'., COPYRIGHT HITCH IN MAORI TOUR. WELLINGTON. July 15.
There seems to be u hitch still over the Maori tour. Air Wray, the Rugby Union's representative in London, cabled on July 16 that the money for assembling the team and allowances had been cabled amounting to £660 and the passage money would follow on Monday. It has not arrived and the Union officials fear that the tab in the franc is interfering with the five thousand required which means a quarter of a million francs. this may turn out to fie beyond the means: of the. French Union.
