COBHAM’S FLIGHT
[Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.] LONDON, July 10. The mechanic, Air Aloore, is prepared to join Cobham and to continue the flight to Australia. He proposes to leave for Basra in a few days. BASRA, July 9. Cobham states that there is still a possibility of proceeding with an Air Force pilot secured locally, as it would take Aloore a fortnight to arrive. Cob r ham. who is anxious to proceed, considers that such a delay is unwelcome. ARRESTS OF ARABS. x BASRA, July 10. There have been a number of arrests made in the vicinity of Hamarlake, in connection with the shooting of .Mechanic Elliott.
