A TRIBUTE.
CHRISTCHURCH, July 3. A tribute was paid by the Technical Collopje Board yesterday evening to IMr James Drummond for the work on ‘“Flour and Fauna” of New Zealand, and decided to bring Mr Drummond’s latest booklet on “The. Mon” under the notice of the Education Authorities as suitable for school use.

The house was insured but not the furniture. Shortly after the arrival of the Fire Brigade, two firemen, AV. McLaren and AA’. Tait. were injured through coming into contact with a live wire nncl could not be freed until the current was cut off. Tait was injured in the lower part of the bodv and McLaren rendered unconscious. * Both went to the hospital.
