TIBBLES .—PURCELL. At St Mary’s Church, Hokitika, yesterday morning, the wedding of Air John Tibbies, youngest son of Mr Joseph Tibbies, Nelson Creek, to Miss Florence Purcell, daughter of Mr M. Purcell, of Bcaloy Street, Hokitika, took place, the Fev. Dr Kennedy officiating. The bride wore an ensemble suit of saxe blue repp relieved with fawn, and a hat to match. She was attended by Airs J. Atkinson, as ATatron of Honour, who wore a'costume of brown repp and hat to match. Air AA r m. Lnrcombe, -of Gray mouth, acted as best man. After the ceremony, the newly-married couple caught the express, leaving on their honeymoon, which will he spent in Christchurch.

CURNOW—TAVOHTLL. A prbtty wedding took place at St. Patrick’s Church, Greymontli, yesterday morning, the contracting parties being Aliss Eileen Twohill, only daughter of the late Air Al. and Airs Twohill, of Brick Street. Greymontli. and Air James Ctirnow. youngest son of the late Air John, and Airs Ctirnow, of Shakespeare St., Greymontli. The ceremony was performed by Bov. Father Houlalian. The bride, who was given away hv her brother, Mr E. Twohill. wore a charming cape frock of blue kasha, cloth with fawn hat trimmed with blue osprey, and enrred a shower bouquet. Her bridesmaids were Aliss Topsy O’Alallcy, who wore a smart frock of rosewood repp with hat to tone, and little Aliss Alavis Herring (niece of the bridegroom), who wore a pretty frock of turquoise blue velvet and bail-band of blue tulle. Both carried pretty shower bouquets. Air AY. Gleeson was host man, and Air A. Twohill groomsman.
