Alt AH ORA FAT STOCK SALE. IV. JEFFRIES AND CO.’S REPORT. At yesterday’s fixture at the above yards the entry of fat cuttle was somewhat smaller than usual and there being a full attendance of buyers, competition was keen from the outset ol the sale, with the consequent result tltit prices per hundred improved considerably on the last sale. The yarding comprised 40 head of cattle and 206 fat sheep, included in the latter being a very even line of fat wethers which made to 29s 3d. Messrs W. Jeffries'and Co made the following sales:—Oil account of Mr Jas. Davidson 1 cow at £6 7s 6il, 1 at £5 10s; on account Mr W. Olderog 1 cow at £ll, 2 heifers at £5 os, 1 at i£4 15s, 1 sucker at £4 17s 6d, 1 at £4 7s Gd, I tit £3 17s 6d, 1 at £2 7s, 1 at £2; on account of Mr R. Olderog 1 sucker at £4 4s, 1 at £2 19s; on account of Mr IV. Graham l bullock at £ls 10s, 1 at £l4, 2 at £l3 17s Gd. 2 at £l2 10s, 1 at £l2, 1 at £lO 15s. 3 at £lO, 3 heifers at £7 10s, 2 at £7 ss, 1 at £5, 3 steers at £7 10s, 2 suckers at £2 17s, 1 heifer at £8 17s 6<l; on account of Mr J. Condon 42 owes at 2os 9d, 100 wethers at 29s 3d ; on account of a client 61 wethers at 28s.

M. HOUSTON AND CO.’S REPORT. At the usual fixture at the above yards yesterday our entry comprised 42 head of fat cattle which were submitted to "the usual attendance of buyers. Our yarding consisted mostly of ox beef including a particularly good line of 28 well finished' bullocks from Mr J. Wallace of AVataroa, for which there was keen competition. Prices were on hi par with those of the previous sale, best ox beef realising to 40s per hundred. On account of P. Douglas 2 heifers at £7 7s Gd, 1 cow at £5 10s, 1 at £7, 2 light steers at £B, 3 at £8 2s Gd. 3 at £9 10s, 2 at £9 os; on account of W. J. Wallace 1 bullock at £ls, 1 at £l4, 2 at £l3. 2 at £l2 2s 6d, -1 at £l3 os. 1 at £l3, 2 at £l3 17s Gd o at £l3 17s Gd, 1 at £l< hs Gd, 2 at £l3 17s 6d, 2 at £l4. 1 at £l6 10s. 1 at £ls 7s Gd.
