[Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.! THE GENEVA CONFERENCE. GENEVA, Juno '24. The League of Nations Labour, Cuiiferenoe ends on Thursday. Mr Beasley, the Australian delegate, has been a most active delegate, leading the International 'Workers’ Group as Chairman. Mr Beasley urged that the delegates had assembled for the purpose of internationalising the laws of the various countries. For this reason, the International Workers* Group would rote against the proposal to leave the decisions regarding offences aboard ships to the national laws. A resolution was submitted with the object of obtaining better overseas representation on the various commissions. It was lost by a few votes, but it is understood this matter-will t>e pressed again op Thursday.
