AN UNWANTED PERSON
(Received iliis day ai. 9.0 a.ro.' SYDNEY, J line 23. William Charles Wilson, alias Robert Curson, aged 24, was charged at the Police Court with being a prohibited immigrant. The Crown alleged that the defendant entered the Commonwealth on the first of June from New Zealand where he had a long list of convictions. In September. 1925, lie was sentenced to turee years on RotoRon Island, whence lie escaped and came to Sydney. Wilson was sentenced to three months hard labour in order that the authorities could send him hack to New Zealand. WORK RESUMED. SYDNEY, June 23. A settlement has been reached of the strike in the motor body building industry arising out of operations of the forty-four hour week. Work will be resumed to-day.
