Tlvare lias been a Federal Cabinet reshuffle of portfolios, caused I>y the retirement of Sir Victor AA’ilson. whose term in the Senate expires at the end of this month. Air Thomas Paterson replaces Sir Y. Wilson as Minister of Markets and Migration, and Senator Sir William Glasgow takes the portfolio of the Home Territories, hitherto held by Senator Pearce. Senator Pearce becomes Vice-Presi-dent of the Executive Council, and will continue as the Government leader in the Senate. Air Atkinson, who has been 'VicePresident of the Execution Council retires from the ministry. Victoria now has six represent atives in the Federal Cabinet. EXPLOSION IN STOVE. PERTH, June 18. Two women, were killed by a mysterious explosion near Bunbury. A house was destroyed supposedly by a gelignite charge. The police arc investigating. The women killed were Airs Holt and Airs Atkins. Airs Holt sour., who was the mother of the husband of one if the woman killed, .succumbed to her injuries, bringing the death roll to three.

It appears that a number of geligiit,e caps were placed in an old stove or safe keeping, and Airs Holt junr., icing unaware of this, lighted a fire u the stove causing the explosion.
