MONDAY, JUNE 14th. The Sub-Union met at 8 p.m. Present.—Messrs F. McGregor (chair), Stafford, Breeze, Dowell, Howbt, Moore, Steel and Median. Apologies for absence were made for Messrs Cut bush and Lawn. 'l’lie minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. From C. Oaylor, report on UuitedHokitika match.—Deceived and resolved to refer the letter to the Referees Association and defer consideration till next week.

J. 3. King whs granted reelnssitintion to Excelsior Juniors.
From Hokitika School, requesting donation towards purchase jerseys.— Received : the Secretary to reply and explain the financial position. From Kanieri Club re Ross-Kanieri match and asking reconsideration of decision.—Received; the right to appeal to the W.C.H.U was allowed.
.MATCH KS FOR SATURDAY. THIRD GRADE. Riiliu v. Kiwi at Hokitika af 3 p.m., Mr A. Sumner. School v. Excelsior at Hokitika at 1,3'1 p.m.. Air J. Coidsou. JUNIOR. Excelsiors v, Kokntahi at Hokitika at 3 p.m., Mr if. Partridge. .Kanieri v. Ross at Ross at 3 p.m., Mr A. Cuthush ?Jr Partridge waited—on the Union and discussed the replaying of the seven-a-side tournament. Air Howat gave notice of motion that the Union reconsider its decision in regard to the R.imu-Ross mafeli ordered to he replayed. It was resolved that the shrimp seven-a-side competition be replayed on Saturday week, and the Union meet the Ross shrimps in the matter of expenses of train fare and refreshments. Afr Partridge suggested a schools competition with 'a, suitable weight limit and after discussion it was icsolved to call for nominations for a school competition with a limit of 8 stone, entries to close next Monday night. It was resolved that Air Partridge be given ,a seat on the Committee of the Sub-Union • Tt was resolved to inform the Excelsior Club that it was too late this season to make any alteration in re- ■ gard to club colours, and to thank the Club for the. satisfactory arrangements agreed upon. A motion that -T. Bannister be reclassified as a senior was deferred till next meeting. The meeting then terminated.
