EGYPT’S PARLIAMENT
CAIRO, June 11
King Fuad opened Parliament. The speech from the Throne, read by Adly •was a masterpiece of ambiguity. He said steps will be taken for tbe admission of Egypt to the League. CAIRO, June 11.
The Parliamentary inauguration opened with a peaceful speech from the throne. The Government intends to enforce respect for. the Constitution, safeguard the rights of foreigners, and especially aimed to re-establish cordial Anglo-Europenn relations. There was enthusiastic applause when it was announced that Egypt had not abandoned her claims to the Soudan.
