A wedding of local interest Look 'place at Alt Saints Church, on AAednesda.y, Juno 2nd, when Ala.v, eldest daughter of Air and Mrs C. J. Nightingale, was married to Arthur, youngest son of .Mrs Dun craft, Lin wood, formerly of Hokitika. The Rev. Perkins performed the ceremony. Ihe bride who was given away by her father, wore a simple grey crope-de-cliene frock with hat to match. Sho carried a boufpiet of violets and maiden hair fern. She was attended by her sister, Emmie, who wore a brown morocain frock with hat to match. Slid carried a sheaf of ohyrsnnthctmnns. Mr P. Shannon carried out tho duties of best man. They were tho reccpients of many costly presnts. The happy couple loft by the evening’s train for Christchurch, their fnturo home.
