REVOLUTION IN PORTUGAL.
[Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.] MILITARY DICTATORSHIP. LISBON, May 31. The revolution lias been victorious throughout tlio country, and without loss of life. There'was not even rioting. A military dictatorship has now beten established, aiming at the provisional abolition of Parliament. Troops have now replaced the polho everywhere. This is tlio twenty-fifth large scale revolution in Portugal since King Manuel was overthrown in 1910. SUCCESS OF RESOLUTION. (Received this day at 11.0 a.m.) LISBON. May 31. The success of the military revolutions is ‘apparent from the fact that the President of the Republic charged the leader of the revolutionary forces, Commander Mindes Cabercadas with the task of forming a Cabinet. Cabecadas 'accepted and lias provisionally taken over control of all portfolios. Cabecada interviewed declared the Government would consist of civil and military personages quite outside the political parties and in perfect agreement with the delegates of tho military divisions.
