ABA lIURA FAT STOCK SALE. AY. JEFFRIES AND CO.’S REPORT. At yesterday's fixture in the above yards 00 head of cattle and 15 vealers were submitted to public competition to the usual attendance of buyers, ox beef making 38s to 12s per hundred. The quality of the cattle was good throughout, and though one or two pens were passed at the opening of the sale, the were subsequently sold to the satisfaction of vendors. Messrs AA'. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows:—On account of .Mr J. Condon. 3 bullocks at- £l4, 3at £l3 J7s lid. 3 at £l3 12s (id, 3 at £ll. 12s (id, f heifers at £lO 17s Oil, 3 at £lO Os. 3 at CO 10s. 5 at.£9 2s 6d, 3 at £0 7s Oil, 2 (at £0 10s: on account of .Air H. Gardiner, 3 extra prime suckers at £5. 1 at £4 7s (id. I at £4, 1 at £2 17s (id. I at £2 7s (id; on account of Mr K. A. Simpson 4 steers at £3 17s Gd, i at. £3 15s, 3 at £3 2s Gd ; on account of Poerua Run, 1 bullock at £lB. 2 at £lO 10s, 1 'at £ls 10s, G at £ll, 5 at £ll 12s fid, 3 at. £ll 7s Gd ; on account of .Air J. Ward (5 porkers at £1 2s Gd ; on account of a client 9 porkers at £l.
At the above sale yesterday our entry comprised 3G head of fat cattle which were submitted to a good nttcniLuiee of buyers. Competition was good and the yarding was cleared at prices oil a par with those of the last sale. Ox l.eef realized 40s per hundred. good heifer and cow beef from 35s to 38s and medium quality from 30s upwards. There wore no sheep yarded. AAV sold as follows:—On account of Mrs Cummings 1 hulloc-k at £l6 15 s . - cows at £l2 ss, 2 heifers at £9 12s Gd, 2 Imllocks at £l3 17s Gd, 1 at £l2 17s Gd. 1 cow at £ll 7s fid. 1 heifer and 1 cow at £8 2.s fid. I cow at £8 15s. 1. at £9 7s Gd, lat £8: on account of T. Staines 2 cows at £8 7s Gd. 1 at £-7 12s fid, 1 'at £6, 1 at £6 2s fid, 1 at £5: on account of AY. Houston 1 voaler at £.2. 1 at £2 15s, 1 at £2 12s fi<T. 1 at £2 7s. 1 steer at £0 2s Gd. 1 vealer at £2 2s. 1 at £4 2s Gd, 1 at 30s, j at £2 10s, 2 at 355. 1 at 30s Gd. 1 cow at £5 ss. 2 heifers at £4. Apology was made for Mr AATn. Diedric-h’s entry not being forward, owing to.the very unfortunate accident which happened to his drover on Sunday afternoon.
