WESTLAND SUB-UNION. MONDAY, MAY 17th. The Sub-Union met at 8 p.m. Present:—Messrs J. Stafford (in the chair), J. J. Breeze, J. Burns, J. Lfowat and 10. IV. Ilecnaii. The minutes were confirmed ami outward correspondence approved. The referees reports' on lust Saturday's games were received and approved as satisfactory. Transfers were granted to R. Morrison, M. Baird. B. Morel, W. Gray, A. Stopfortli and A. -Muir. It was resolved to inform, the Hariliari Club that they could enter their teams for the seveu-a-side tournament and that Y. Person and L. Robertson lmd already been clasificd as juniors. MATCHES FOR MAY 22nd. THIRD GRADE. Rimu v. Excelsiors at Jlokitika at 3 p.m. Mr E. Heenrui. School, a hve. JUNIORS. Kanicri v. Ross at. Ross at. 3 p.m. Mr A. Gutbush. Excelsiors v. Kiwis at Hokitika at 3 p.m. Mr A. Sumner. Kokatahi. a bye.
It was resolved that junior and third grade competitions consist of four rounds.
It was resolved to ask the Borough Council to attend to the gateway of the dividing fence on Cass .Square and to ask to he relieved of the 10 per cent, charge oil gates this season. ft. was resolved that -Mr A. AA • Vill-rail he official timekeeper .and that the Postponement Committee consist of Messrs I). Dowell. A. Cutbush and E. AY. Hoc mm, Mr D. Dowell to be West Coast selector representative and that Messrs T). Howell, J. Stafford and E. ITocna’n he junior and third grade selectors.
