GAS.
Gas is tlie .subject of a special adveftiscmeiil by the Hokitika Gas Company to-day. The reader is informed that gas is the medium to contribute best ol all to home comforts. It is handy for cooking, for heating water, for heating bouses, for warm baths, tor .reliable lighting and for commercial power and manufacturing.
Gas in the house, office, works or showroom, is a time saver, a fuel saver, a labour saver, a money saver. It is the all-round servant to make domestic affairs run smoothly.
Gas is now adaptable to so many means that its installation ensures comfort and avoids many forms of drudgery at borne. Of the making of gas appliances there is now no end. The modern appliances are all fuel-sav-ing because of the special regulation tags. Enquiry from Mr W. H. Shannon. Be veil Street, or the Manager of tHo local Gas Works, will afford all information as to the now appliances which are procurable on time payment. The household which has gas on tap will find it most useful during the winter months, when the early breakfast or late supper is required, ((as is a ready cooker and heater, and is a very ready help in all domestic work.
