CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW
IN SOLDIERS' HALT.
WEDNESDAY, AfAY 12th
The annual Chrysanthemum Show was opened in the Soldiers’ Hall this afternoon. There was an excellent display of blooms in spite of the recent had weather. The vegetable classes filled fairly well, while the cookery display was an excellent one, there being good competition in most of the classes. Fancy work also was displayed in quality and quantity, the whole display proving a very creditable one. Following are the awards: PRIZE LIST. Air F. Groufsky- was awarded the Yarrall Rose Bowl Trophy for the best bloom in the show. Air Yarrall won the Silver Cup, for the, four best blooms in the show. Air F.
