A JUDGE’S ACTION. MELBOURNE, May 10. The- President of the Commonwealth Arbitration Court, Justice Powers, has issued a statement through the registrar respecting the forty-four hour] week decision. He admits he made a mistake in not submitting the applications to the Full Court to allow the union to he heard on the question at least. Whether the Court should not reopen the question of standard hours to the extent necessary to allow applications on ..some of them to be dealt with, notwithstanding the recent judgment of Quick and Webb. Therefore Justice Powers has instructed that the cases come before the Full Court on Thursday, - /,
