Australian—Coloured. 88s to 93s per cwt (9d- to 10:1 per lb);- white. 90s per cwt (Ojd per lb). Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived this week per s.s. Cambridge. Taiuui, I’ort Chalmers .and Gallic. AA'OOL. Sales continue. The demand is good for merino and fine cross-bred at opening rates. Medium and coarse crossbred occasionally .show an easier tendency. TALI.OAY'The spot market remains firm. Present quotations are: Mutton —Unchanged.

Beef—Sweet and (or) mixed -13 s 3d to -14 s per cwt. fair to good, 41s Gd to 43s 3d per cwt. dark to dull, 39s to 40s per cwt.

Gut, etc—3Gs Gd to 39s Gd per ewt AFRT/ES.

The Norfolk shipment of London portion generally good, though Cox’s Orange show some waste over maturity- Some Dunn’s Favourite badly pitted. Tainui now unloading, hut nothing has been sold yet. No improvement in the market and demand slow. Norfolk’s prices at London are : Cox’s Orange. 10s to 15s up to 16s per case; Dunn’s Favourite, 10s to 12s per case; Delicious, Lis to Its per case; Cleopatra, 11s to 16s per case; Jonathan and London Pippin and others 10s 6d to 12s per ease. Norfolk’s Liverpool consignment arrived in very good condition, but prices arc not vet available. HKMP.

Manila is easier and “J.” grade May-.luly shipments quoted £4O sellers. Sisal market quiet and liighpoints Mny-July shipments quoted at £3O 15s, fair £34 ss, value e.if. OATS.

There is a hotter demand and prices have advanced. Sellers No. 2 Can-adian-Western May shipments asking 28s c.i.f.. hut not, much business at these prices. Chilean Stbrmking’s selling April-Mav shipments 26s 9d to 27s 9d c.i.f. Fair average quality Plate April-May shipments sold 21s 7’d for 3201 h. English best white sold up to 32s per 3361 b. New Zealand AprilMay shipments Cartons nominal quotations 28s c.i.f. for 3201 b. PEAS.

Maple Partridge stocks, New Zealand and Tasmanian practically cleared and keen demand for good quality parcels arriving. No. 1 New Zealand ex store sold up to 90s. and April-May shipments up to 82s ]d c.i.f. Small demand for Blue, principally Dutch hand-picked, at £lB to £2O per ton. COCKSFOOT. Quotations 82s 6d to 82s 6d f.o.b. Copenhagen for April shipment. Somewhat lower prices would be accepted
