A glimpse of life ill Hollywood among the actors and players ol screen fame will he shown in this dramatic story, which deals with the love of a young cattleman for a popular motion picture star. The picture is an adaptation of It, Phillips Opporiheiiu’s novel and is produced hy Stuart Blarklnn for Yitagraph. The story contrasts life in tho open on a great ranch and the smart set of those who hash in the reflected sory of public favourites. John St ran gc way, who has lived a primitive life, meets Louise Alaurel, a motion jiicLure star. His brother, Shcplieii, with whom lie lives, is a hitter woman-hater and frowns on the triendship of his younger brother and Louise, fascinated hy the actress. John goes to Hollywood, makes his way into the studio and hltintlv informs Louise tliur he has come to marry lier. He takes up the life at Hollywood and meets Eugene tie Seyre, a wealthy idler and an admirer of Louise. Be Seyre plots with Calavera to bring about me downfall of Strangeway. He eludes the artful dancer’s fascination, but Steplieu is suspicious of the relations between. Do ’Seyre and Louise. Pressed by his brother. John demands an explanation from Louise, and Du Seyre implies the worst. John thrashes 'he idler, and Louise, piqued hy John’s suspicions, promises to many Do Seyre. At tile last, moment she flees from (lie wedding ceremony and takes refuge on the ranch and in the arms ol the young cattleman. Further chapters nt the serial and a good comedy will also be shown to-night.
