ANTI-FASCISTI INCIDENT.
[” The Times ” Service.] (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.i LONDON. April 21. The ” Times’” Brussels correspondent states that Baron Jacquemyns, .Minister of the Interior, demanded an immediate report on the incident arising out of the Socialist anti-Fuseixt meeting at La l.rtuvicre. a small industrial town, where the audience burned the effigy of Mussolini, which had previously been paraded in the streets. The effigy was dressed black, with a military helmet, ami nose bandaged. It is alleged that the police did not interfere because the Mayor of La Louviere is a Socialist. If the inquiry establishes the accinof the story Jacquemyns will demand that the participators be punished. 1 as his Socialist colleagues in the Cabinet are unlikely to support this drastic action. Jacquemyns will probably resign. Meanwhile the Italian Ambassador has been summoned to Rome.
