EXTRAORDINARY STORY. A. few weeks ago there came lunu Burma an extraordinary story ot a “wonder child”—a hov little more than a baby, who holds multitudes spellbound by his eloquence. Now comes the reported discovery of a miracle worker in circumstances which would appear fantastic were there not so many people prepared to vouch lot the truth of the occurrence. The story, which emanates Irom the Moulmein correspondent of the Buncoon ‘Times.” is that at Yennyein, twentv-six miles from Martaban, a Buddhist'monk is healing all diseases by touch of hand. It is said that the monk, who is Chinese, asks nothing bn bis services, and has become so inundated with requests for the alleviation ol suffering that lie is being assisted by live pupils to whom he is able to delemite. his extraordinary power, though this transferred capacity lasts only one day.
