Mr May no Wheeler, at the AntiSaloon Leaugue, has published a series of statement from noted industiial leaders commenting on the effects of prohibition. Air Stopford said troublesome drinking among iiis employees had decreased from one hundred out of each five thousand to ten i heir men were working better, wasting less and saving more. D. Rockfeler, junr., said: There has been a very general inipression that Prohibition has becu a great increase for morale,” Air. Gray (of the United Steel Corporation) said : "I have no hesitation in saying with emphasis that the Volstead Act has been very beneficial to industry in the United States and to workmen and their families. There bus been a noteworthy decrease in the number of gaols, asylums and hospitals. There has been a large increase in savings hank deposits.’‘
