SCHOOL COMMITTEE
NOMINATIONS FOR HOKITIKA. Noniiiiationsrfor the Hokitika School Committee closed last evening, the following ten being nominated : Frank H. Clarke, S. J. Preston. W. F. Richards,. R. J. Redder, Jos. Conning, W. H. Shannon. W. J. Haseler. R. Wells. H. IV. R. Kweney. and J. P. Coulson. Nine lieing required there will he an election at the annual meeting of householders on Mondnv evening next. There are three of the old members missing from the nominations, Mr. W. Goodfellow, Rev. J. F. Jack, and the late Mr. W. H. Bishop.
