[ At Millerton last evening, Casey (Australia) met Klmour (France) in a fifteen-round professional bout, which went, the full distance, and was won by Casey on points. Casey is a tighter 1 and Elmour a boxer. Tt was a most 1 stirring contest, almost every round being of cyclonic pace. Casey was the * more aggressive, but Elmour used a very effective straight left. Pandemonium was let loose when the decision was given, the Frenchman being the popular mining tanev. SYDNEY. April IS. At the Stadium, Tommy Uren defeated Sunny Jim AA illiams on points in twenty rounds. It was a bard fought battle, in which Tien displayed Hie most science. I MELBOURNE. April 18. \t the Stadium, Lon Johnston defeated Alf Stewart in the nineteenth round by a knock-out, after an uninteresting contest.
