TYPHOID at XAPIF-R. NAPIER, April 13. There are at present 17-patients sufferin': from typhoid in tlie Napier Hospital. Tlio patients are chiefly children, and live mostly at West Shore and the Port. Inadequate sanitary arrangements are considered to be the cause of the outbreak.
SICK FUND CONSOLIDATION. AUCKLAND, April 14. Tlie Manchester Unity Conference bv 23 to 22 adopted a remit from the directors urging all districts to consolidate their sick funds.
