LADY SMUOOI.au ■ CAUGHT. SYDNEY, April 14. A sen rcli of a young woman passenger arriving by a Japanese liner brought to light a. number of valuable silk scarves wrapped closely round her body. Others were hidden about her person and luggage. Subsequent investigation at her residence led to the seizure of silks and other Eastern goods valued at £I,OOO, which is supposed to be part of the proceeds of extensive smuggling operations carried on over g lengthy period. _
