N.Z. AND N.S.W. (Received this day at 8 a.mA SAH)NEAL Alarch 23. At the annual meeting of the N.S.W. Rugby Union, Air Slade, cxcliairinan of the N.Z. Rugby Union, said the union in New Zealand was a religion. Here it was different. The Australians had every code and it would be the survival of the fittest, but he assured the meeting that the New Zealand Union was behind N.S.W. and would stand by it to the last. Air Bavlis (Auckland) said the New Zealand Union was keen on getting an English team to visit the Dominion as 7t was certain the tour would be n success. Replying to a speech by the representative of the local clubs tl»*t lie could mil understand why the last X.S.AY. tour of the Dominion had been a financial loss, the Chairman said the management committee was perfectly satisfied. Everything was right with the expenses list submitted by the N.Z. Union.
