PLEA TO LABOUR PARTY
(Received this day at 8 a.m.l LONDON, March 22

Dominions would realise that a change of British Government would not affect tho .safeguarding of naval defence. He declared the Labour Government's abandoning of tbc Singapore base simultaneously with inencasing the air vote for the defence of Britain created the impression in the Dominions that the House of Commons was willing to vote money for the defence of England at the expense of weakening the defence of the outer Empire.
