The weather in the morning, was threatening, hut rain held oil, and the mooting com luded under favourable conditj,:ns. Tlv course was in excellent order, and there was a large attendance. The tote investments were £10.033 10s. compared with £l7. 1 11. on the second day of the two-dav meeting last year.
