011 Saturday night shortly after 11 o'clock an Overland car driven by Mr Kelt Searle who was accompanied by Messrs C Shearer and Fleming, crashed into the bridge crossing Dounellv’s Greek. The car (which was on the way from Harihaii to Ruatapu) for some reason got out of control, and just alter entering on the bridge struck the side railing breaking off several of the uprights and railing.
