Kaui.y Kr.u.utA. Telegraphic communication was opened with Kumara yesterday, after mid-day. One of the first, telegrams which arrived in the town was marked “Collect.” It was addressed io a wellknown hotelkeeper, and was to the effect that the sender had taken a drink at tho recipent's expense. The recipient was preparing for tiis friend with a neddy. —West Coast Times. Oct. sth. 1870.
