During the week end Ur Long reiterated that he bad not departed from bis original plan of bringing down the Abolition Bill at the end of the present session. lie asserted that democracy as represented by the great hi bon i movement would triumph. He -aid there was only one tiling that could defeat .democracy and labour movement. in the present crisis and that was treachery. He added that when the vote was taken the labour roll ol honour would be shown. The State Governor has not yet been approached officially by the Premier or anv member of the Ministry concerning the proposal to make additional appointments to the Legislative Council.
