prospecting company lias been formed and it is doing a'great deal of work in a quiet way. It has acquired the right to use a combined electrical and wireless system of locating mineral lodes and quart/, reefs from the surface. This invention is claimed to be about the last word in scientific mining. The manager of the company has been working under the instructions of the inventor and has proved to the complete satisfaction of the directors, that the principle is sound. At a recent meeting of the shareholders the chairman of directors stated that the system was being used successfully in other parts of the world and he was convinced that it would eliminate nine-tenths of the present cost and risk of mining.
