[Australia & N.Z. Cable Association.] I.OXDOX, Feb. 8. The ‘‘Observer” says: “When a paragon of good faith and good will like Hobbs can get himself seriously misunderstood at the other end of the world, it is a warning against carrying the discussion on cricket politics too far. A section of Australian opinion will he dissatisfied with their chosen team, but we, iu England, certainly find no reason for depreciating it and if we are fortunate enough to win, there will be no danger of complaint that tile task was too easy.” ■
