The “ Grey River Argus ” says that a young lad. Ralph Kicking, aged 15. living in Alexander Street. Greymouth, met with a serious accident on Saturday morning about half past eleven The mishap occurred at the top end of Murray Street, where the hov, who is in the emnloy of Mr J. 11. Bryce, a fruit dealer, was driving a low-bodied delivery cart. It appears in though TTickling was standing in the vehicle, attempting to hack the horse from an nllev-way. The reins were in his hands at the time. Suddenly, the horse kicked its hind legs from beneath the cart hitting the hoy on the chest. However. it is not as had as that yet. so our Greymouth friends should lake heart, and above all endeavour to prevent its press from depreciating its position and standing.
