The Methodist Church was re-opened yesterday, largely rebuilt and renovated after the ravages of the serious fire a few months ago. The building is again an architectural ornament to the town, and will last for many years to come. The organ has not been restored as yet. It is still in process of rebuilding at Dunedin Imt is expected nex-t month and when installed will complete the inside appearance of the Church. The services yesterday were all well attended. The Rev. J. F. •faek, in charge of the circuit, was the occasional preacher in the absence of the President of the Methodist Conference who was not able to attend at this particular time. Yesterday forenoon the subject of the discourse was “ A

Call to Consecration,” and the evening subject was “Thanksgiving.” At night Mr Arnold Perry, a young man of exceptional voice, rendered a solo. I'he Church people are to he congratulated on the happy restoration of their edifice.
