SYDNEY, Jan. 10

Papers tallied in the Assembly show the libel action against the New South Wales Government by Sir William Arroll and Company was abandoned. [A cable announced on the lGth November, 1924, that. Sir IV. Arroll and Co., bad issued a writ claiming damages against Mr Ball, (Minister of Works), Mr Cooper, (Under-Secretary for Works) and Dr Bradlield (Engineer and designer of the North Shore Bridge) in respect to an alleged liliel contained in the report of Dr Bnulficld to the Minister, being upon the steel which Arroll’s purposed to use in the construction of the bridge. It was officially stated the damages claimed amounted to £30,000.} ,
