Cable Association.] ROME, January RL According to a telegram from Kismuyu, in Jubalaml, the Italian astronomical mission there to study the recent. solar eclipse has secured successful results. Three observatories were installed, and the observers had a full view of the phenomenon for .131 minutes. They secured a number of photographs and also important data. WELTERYREDEN, J'anaurv 10. Reports of the sun’s eclipse .state that, although visible at Bencoolen. the scientific results are doubtful, owing to nearly invisible cirrus clouds, The corona protuberances, however were splendid. It is authoritatively stated that all photographic plates that were taken to prove the Einstein theory will most probably be valueless. SOLAR EXPEDITION FAILURE. WELTEVREDEN, January 17. All the plates of the Dutch eclipse expedition, after development proved failures.
