DAIRY PRODUCE.
GRADED FOR EXPORT. The figures of tile Dairy Division of the Department of Agriculture show that the salted hutter graded for December. 1025. were 10,182 tons, and the unsalted 77G tons, a total of 10,058 tons, compared with 10.815 tons salted and 75!) tons unsalted. a total of 11,004 tons for December of last year, a decrease of 5.5 per cent. For the five months ended December, 1925, the respective Quantities were 30,'860 tons and 1922 tons, a total of 32,782 tons, compared with 35,501 tons and 2081 tons, a total of 37,582 tons for the corresponding season, a "decrease of 12.7 per cent.
The cheese graded for December, 1025. comprised: White 8210 tours, coloured 4733 tons, a total of 12,802 tons, compared with 7007 tons white and 4144 foils coloured, a. total of 11,811 tons for December. 1024. an inefease of 0.0 per cent. The quantities for the five months ended December. 1025, were: White 21,583 tons, coloured IT.BOO tons, a total nf 33.470 tons coloured. a total of 31,000 tons for the corresponding period of the preceding season, an increase of 5.9 per cent. Converting these figures into butterfat equivalent, there is a decrease of 1.5 per cent in flutter-fat production for the five months as compared with, the corresponding period of the 1924-25 season.
Stocks held in the various .grading ports at December 13, 1925, were: Rutter. 5735 tons; cheese. 813 G tons.
