DISARMAMENT CONFERENCE.

POSTPONEMENT REPORTED

[BY TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.]

GENEVA, January 13

A mystery attaches to reports received here front! London and Paris stating that a postponement of the Preparatory Disarmament Commission is possible. Observers here arc inclined to believe that separate discussions arc progressing between Washington and Paris, and between London and Rome, for the purpose of settling the question of a separate naval parley, which the United States is understood to favour. It is not believed that France, Japan or Italy will change their views regarding the indivisibility of the whole armament problem, hut Britain will probably side with Washington.
