From same forwarding annual report of the Hospitals Department.—Received. From National Provident Fund Secretary, re superanna.ution fund.—Received. From Hospital Boards Association forwarding opinion on t hairman s powers.—Received. From same re superannuation scheme.—Received. From AVallaee Hospital Board asking for returns. —-Received. From Dr Booth, Kumara. applying for leave of absence and stating Dr Baird had offered to do the work.—Recevietl and request granted. From T. AV. Bruce, applying for annual holiday.—Received and agreed to. From AV. D. Nolan, Okttrtt, renewing request for field stretcher lor use in case of necessity.—Received ; particulars to be asked of wheels and axle it was proposed to utilize. REPORTS. The Surgeon-Superintendent reported on 30th November there were 42 patients; admitted during December, 12 males. 7 females, totale treated 38 males. 23 females—6l. Discharged cured 16 males, 5 females, relieved 1 male, 1 female ; died 2 males, 2 females. Total discharged 19 males, 8 females—--27. Remaining in Hospital on 31st December 19 males. 15 females—34. fn Hospital for two months 9 males, 8 females—l7.—Received. The House Committee’s report was received and adopted. The Treasurer reported receipts €713 0s 8d; payments CBGB 17s Gd credit balance £‘s7B 8s Bd, building account credit balance €155 lGs. Accounts amounting to €460 Gs lid were passed for payment. TENDERS. Tenders for meat were opened and the tender of Andrews Bros, for £571 ds 2d accepted ; AA\ Berry and Sons CGI6 10s 3d. The Board rose at 8.21 p.in.
