In a letter to Air Raeburn, General Secretary of the Australian Seamen’s Union, the Common wealth Steamship Owners’ Association states the InterState Steamship Companies will, in the I’llture decline to employ any member of the Seamen’s Union guilty of having caused any vessel belonging to any of the companies to lie delayed, or of having attempted the exercise of job control. SYDNEY MINT SYDNEY. Jan. 9. Air Lang announced lie has definitely decided to close the Syndey mini which has been a losing proposition for years. In future all coinage will he minted at Alelhourne and subsequently at Canberra, when the federal capital is established there. Air Lang has a scheme for building a row of Government buildings extending from Mitchell Library to the Registrar General's office, including the building ol an up to date Parliament House, and removal of the Sydney Hospital from the present site.
