North Inch. Bitters. A good race. Won by a length. Time 1.32. Farewell Handicap : —Prosperity 1, Bene .Mavis 2. Prince Charleroi 3. Also ran: Flying Master, Hallownoon, Saxette. A splendid race. Meeting to-day the running of the Hurdle Race, which was won by Mamin, excited the sus- ! icion of the authorities and an in-

quiry was opened. This was adjourned till after the race, when the Judicial Committee again met on the subiect. After hearing evidence as to (he running of the horses Uncle Dave, Tenterfiehl. Cashmnn. Marble Slab and Hying Master, the Judicial Committee decided that all five jockeys namely, \. G. Campbell. MeMullan, Peart. \ invan and Easton should lie disquali■ed for six months. In the race itsolf the winner got iway with a beg break, and then the ■ost set going, fn the course of the aep the crowd barracked the jockeys, 'ml at the conclusion of the event; here was a prolonged hostile demon■tratinn, the crowd evidently lieing ■oiivineed there was something wrong.
