LONDON, Oct- 29. Poor Law authorities throughout tlio country are gravely concerned about the enormous increase in the number of tramps who have been attracted by the recent instructions of the Ministry of Health for clean baths, drying of clothing, provision of night clothing, separate accommodation and other comforts. In Lincolnshire the number of admissions to vagrancy wards this year has been 60,357, which (jompares witlh 8.698 over last year. It has been stated that on any night in the year 14,000 people are provided with accommodation in the .500 casual wards in the country. If each person costs 9d a night, as officially estimated, the total cost for the year is nearly £200,000,
