All other mails usually despatched on Friday will be suspended. Mails tor bower Kokatalii. Koilcraugi, Goldsbornugli, Stafford and \ rail lira will lie despatched on Thursday. 24th. December. There w ill be a counter delivery of letters by Postmen on Thursday evening Ironr 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Private Box l.obbv Sunday hours will he observed on Christmas Day.
The Telegraph Office will lie closed on Christmas Day. The Telephone Exchange will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.in. and 6 p.m. to 0 p.m. On Boxing Day. Saturday, 26th. December, the Post Office will be open in all branches (except Money Order and Savings Bank) from !) a.m. to 10 a.m. Mails fer Greyninutli. Christchurch, etc. will close at T.-fo a.m. All other mails usually despatched on Saturday will be suspended. South Westland mails "ill close at 8 a.m. Town posting boxe.s will he cleared at 7 a.in. Saturday.
