After the wedding ine guests were entertained by the bride's parents at Slew's tea rooms, where a sumptuous repast lnid been prepared, the room being beautifully decorated in pink and lavender and coloured lights, and with the blinds drawn, this gave the room a very gay and cosy appearance. Airs Shndholt receive d her guests in a. navy blue brocaded frock with hat to match, relieved witb old gold. After all the toasts were- duly honoured the happy couple left amid showers of good wishes and cnnletti, by private ear, on route to Westport, Nelson, and Palmerston North, their future Homo. Tho bride’s travelling dress was fawn rep cloth with henna and fawn coloured hat to match. The presents were hoi It numerous and eostlv. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold wristlet watch and to tin-- bridegroom from the bride a. silver shaving set. whilst the bridesmaid received a gold armlet and tho llower girl a gold brooch.
