[Reuter Telegrams.] AMERICAN NAVY. WASHINGTON, Dec. 8. Despite the naval disasters in tho vear. Secretary Wilbur in the annual accounting on Tuesday, reported tc the President that the morale in this branch of national defence has never been higher. He said that the Australian trip was a practical demonstration of the fitness of the navy, and served to foster friendly relations with our neighbours in the South Pacific. U.S.A. AIRCRAFT. WASHINGTON. Dec. 10. An expenditure of twenty million dollars annually for the procurement of aircraft for army and navy is recommended in report of special House Committee as agreed upon to-day.
